CCSGO welcomes applications for membership from anyone who wishes to
study the exercise of authority in groups and organizations. There are
several levels of membership to accommodate different levels of interest
and qualifications. We believe that membership and participation in
the work of the Chicago Center can help you to more successfully and
responsibly take up your roles as leader and follower and we invite
you to join us in our work.
Depending on your previous experience, there are three levels of membership
at which you may join:
Associate Member: You must have attended at least two A.K. Rice/Tavistock
group relations conferences, or equivalent, and must have served as
a staff member of at least one AKRI-sponsored conference, or attended
one national conference or two residential conferences as a member.
Associates are voting members, are able to serve on the CCSGO board,
and pay dues to AKRI as well as to CCSGO.
Friend: You must show interest in the work of CCSGO/AKRI, enjoy the
benefits of participating in CCSGO programs, training and committee
work. Friends pay dues only to CCSGO and need not join AKRI.
Student: Student memberships offer the same requirements and benefits
as those of a Friend and pay less dues.
Please return the attached application with your check for $50 if you
are applying for membership at the Associate or Friend level, or $25
and a copy of your student ID if you are applying for membership at
the Student level.
Please remember to apply at the Associate level, you must also be a
member of AKRI. You may contact AKRI at: akriceinst@AOL.com,
or at (561) 744-1340.
